Sleevewise is an iPhone app that catalogues a vinyl collection. You add records by scanning the barcode or photographing the cover; each one is matched to its release in the Discogs database, graded on the Goldmine scale and valued with Discogs Marketplace prices. It’s free up to 100 records.
Scan the barcode on the back and Sleevewise looks it up in the Discogs database. Records from before barcodes, or with the sticker peeled off? Take a photo of the front, or search by artist, title or catalogue number. When a release has several pressings, you see them side by side (label, country, year, format) and pick the one on your shelf.

Condition is half of what a record is. Sleevewise grades the media and the sleeve separately on the Goldmine scale collectors and the Discogs Marketplace use: Mint, Near Mint, Very Good Plus, Very Good, Good Plus, Good, Fair, Poor. Add notes (“six-eye label”, “ring wear on the back”), what you paid and where you found it.
Browse as a cover wall or a list. Sort into folders, build lists (“Blue Note originals”, “Sunday morning”), tag records, filter by genre and search everything. Each record page shows the tracklist, label, year, format and your own details.
A listening log remembers what you played and when; Rediscover brings back the records that have sat on the shelf too long.
Every record carries its current price on the Discogs Marketplace, and the collection adds up to a value you can follow over time, record by record. When it’s time to insure, Sleevewise makes a PDF report listing every record with its condition and what you paid. See how it works on vinyl record value.
Already catalogued on Discogs? With Premium, connect your account to import your collection and keep both in sync, and export everything as a CSV file whenever you like. Your collection lives in your Sleevewise account; you can delete it, and the account, from the app at any time.
