Sleevewise, an iPhone app for vinyl collectors, opens its beta
Scan or photograph a record, grade it and see what it’s worth. Then find the next one: the map holds nearly 7,000 record shops, the calendar over 900 upcoming record fairs. Made in France by an independent developer.
France, 26 September 2026 — Sleevewise, an iPhone app for vinyl record collectors, is now in beta on TestFlight. Collectors add a record by scanning its barcode or photographing the sleeve, grade the copy on the Goldmine scale, see what it is worth from Discogs Marketplace data, and find record shops and record fairs. The App Store launch follows soon, in six languages and 174 countries.
What Sleevewise does
- Add a record by scanning its barcode, by photographing a sleeve that has no barcode, or by searching the Discogs catalogue. Without a signal, scans wait in a queue.
- Grade it on the Goldmine scale, from Mint to Poor, for the record and the sleeve; add notes, purchase prices and dates, and sort it into folders.
- See what it’s worth: each record’s value from Discogs Marketplace data, and wantlist price alerts when a record drops below a target price. Premium adds the whole collection’s value by genre and condition. The insurance report is a PDF.
- Go digging: a map of nearly 7,000 record shops in 160 countries with reviews from collectors, a calendar of over 900 upcoming record fairs in 19 countries with reminders, and a dig planner for a route through several shops.
- Keep listening: a listening log, Rediscover for the records left on the shelf, stats and achievements.
- Share: public profiles, followers, an activity feed and curated lists, with report and block.
There are no ads and no tracking. Sleevewise starts without an email or a password; Sign in with Apple saves the account.
Availability and price
Sleevewise is in beta on TestFlight: to join, email [email protected]. The App Store launch follows soon, in 174 countries (not mainland China). The app runs on iPhone with iOS 15.5 or later, in English, French, Spanish, German, Japanese and Korean.
Sleevewise is free to download. The free plan holds 100 records, 3 folders, 3 lists and 5 cover scans a day, and each record’s own value stays free. Sleevewise Premium costs US$3.99 a month or US$22.99 a year (€3.99 or €24.99 in the EU), with a 7-day free trial on the yearly plan. It removes the limits and adds value insights for the whole collection, Discogs import and sync, custom tags and collection export. During the beta, purchases are free test purchases, so testers can try Premium without paying.
