Account deletion

Delete your Sleevewise account

Last updated: October 5, 2026

Sleevewise is a vinyl collection app for iPhone and Android, developed by Imad Djebarni. You can delete your Sleevewise account and its data at any time: in the app, or by email if you no longer have it. This page explains how, and what is deleted and what is kept.

In the app

  1. Open your Profile and tap the gear icon at the top to open Settings.
  2. At the bottom of Settings, tap Delete account.
  3. Confirm. Your account and its data are deleted at once.

On iPhone, if your account is saved with Apple, Apple asks you to confirm first, so that Sleevewise stops using your Apple ID. An account that isn't saved with Apple or Google is also deleted when you sign out of it.

By email, without the app

  1. Write to [email protected] from the address you want us to reply to, with "Delete my account" as the subject.
  2. Tell us which account to delete:
    • if it's saved with Apple or Google, the email address shown in Settings, under Signed in with Apple or Signed in with Google (with Apple, it can be a private relay address);
    • otherwise, your username: it follows the @ under your name on your Profile.
  3. We may ask you to confirm that the account is yours. We delete it within 30 days of your request, and reply once it's done.

If your account was never saved with Apple or Google and has no username, an email can't tell us which account is yours: delete it in the app.

What is deleted

Your account and everything in it:

  • your user ID and the sign-in saved with it: the email address Apple shares, or the Google account ID, email address, name and picture Google shares;
  • your profile: username, display name, bio, location, website and avatar;
  • your collection and wantlist, with their folders, tags, notes, conditions and prices, and your loans, cleanings and styli;
  • your listening log, lists, dig plans, saved fairs, store check-ins and reviews, challenge entries, badges and price alerts;
  • who you follow and who follows you, your social activity, and the reports and blocks you made (the e-mails we got about them are kept for a while, see below);
  • your notifications, notification settings and push notification token, and the notifications your activity sent to other collectors in the app (that you followed them, for example);
  • your answers to the welcome questions, and the link to your Discogs account (nothing is removed from Discogs).

What is kept

  • Purchases. Apple or Google Play, and RevenueCat, which manages subscriptions for Sleevewise, keep the record of your purchases under their own policies, for as long as the law requires (for tax and accounting, for example). Deleting your account doesn't cancel a subscription: cancel it first, in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on iPhone, or in the Play Store → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions on Android.
  • Anonymous statistics and crash reports. Usage statistics (PostHog) and crash reports (Sentry) were never linked to your account: they can't be traced back to you, and they stay anonymous.
  • Records no longer linked to you. The app's error log keeps the errors it recorded, without your user ID. Record fairs you submitted stay in the calendar. Reports other users sent about your content stay in our list of reports, without your user ID; the e-mails about them are covered just below.
  • Moderation e-mails. Each report and each block was also e-mailed to us, with the usernames and display names involved, the report's details and the reported text. We keep these e-mails for up to 12 months to handle reports and legal claims, then delete them.

To delete some of your data but keep your account, edit or delete it in the app (records, lists, listens, profile details), or write to us for anything else.
