How we count

The shops come from OpenStreetMap, through the Sleevewise map; music shops whose name says they sell instruments are left out. Each shop counts once, for a city whose centre is within 15 km; when two cities are that close, the bigger and nearer one takes it. A city needs at least 8 record shops to be listed. Figures as of October 8, 2026.

A shop missing, closed, or not a record shop? Fix it on OpenStreetMap or write to contact@sleevewise.app.
